Mellisa Cotera, Esq

Immigration Attorney Mellisa Cotera was born and raised in Lima, Peru. Mellisa is a licensed attorney in both New York and Peru. She has been practicing federal immigration law for seven years.
Prior to coming to the United States to do her Masters of Law (LL.M.) in International Human Rights Law and becoming an immigration attorney in the United States, Mellisa practiced law in Peru for four years.
Mellisa is an immigrant like her clients and has a personal understanding of the immigration process having experienced it personally. She believes that every client deserves to have a professional and honest legal advice. She exercises empathy and compassion when working with people.
During her free time, Mellisa loves to exercise, spend time with her family and travel when time allows.
